This location is probably the furthest distance away from Beckley WV, but for KOA fans I thought I would mention it. I would consider this middle West Virginia.

Whether you’re looking for downtime or a central location to explore southern West Virginia, Flatwoods KOA has you covered. This would be a great location to stay when you are exploring the middle of the state. Not too far from Summersville with their amazing lake, Webster County and many other areas that would make for a perfect trip.

Honorable Mentions
Bowels RV Village Located in Raleigh WV 4 minutes from Beckley WV. A quiet location close to city life, but near a cute little creek. One of the best priced rentals lots at $40 a night, and $650 for monthly rentals.
Glade Creek Campground- part of the New River Gorge National Park (the southern end). RVs are welcome but there is not designated spots, its first come first serve, without camping fees
Pipestem Camping- located next door to Pipestem State Park in Neighboring Summers County, so it is very close to the Bluestone River, plus Hinton, the Greenbrier River and New River.
Pipestem Resort State Park- perfect for those that love everything outside. Open year round, and I highly recommend horseback riding.
